Bill Malloy

Bill Malloy is an investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a deep commitment to advancing engineering-driven software companies and supporting innovations in longevity particularly in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

He is a Co-Founder of Sway Capital, where he leads software investments, offers hands-on operational guidance, and helps build strategic bridges between the U.S. and EMEA technology ecosystems. Bill has played a key role in the growth of several high-impact companies, serving on the boards of and co-leading investments in firms such as Tally, Affinity, Fetch Robotics, LiveAction, Zanbato, Uber, Twilio, Lyft, SendGrid, and Addepar.

Bill also serves as President and board member of Malloy and Company, a multi-generational single-family office committed to investing in innovation that delivers positive social and environmental outcomes. In this role, he has spearheaded initiatives ranging from global real estate investments to family governance planning and next-generation leadership development.

He began his venture capital career at DFJ Zone Ventures, working closely with portfolio companies on strategy, operations, and financial structuring, while sourcing investment opportunities across Silicon Valley and Southern California. Prior to that, Bill held business development and product roles at Listen.com (acquired by RealNetworks) and MusicMatch (acquired by Yahoo).

A dedicated philanthropist, Bill supports a range of causes through the Malloy Foundation and is a co-founder of the PEERS Network, a group of entrepreneurs committed to giving back. He previously served as a board member and treasurer of the Equinox Center, which focuses on sustainability and regional policy solutions.

Bill holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, a B.S. in Engineering from Clemson University, and completed coursework in Computer Science at Stanford University
